Join artists Jo Waterhouse and Allegra Galvin as they transform the gallery space into a fine art studio for children.
We’ll ask you to banish the notion that creativity is something to be taught and instead spend some pleasurable time exploring materials with the young artists in your life. A space to share your experience of art and come away with new ideas about nurturing creative confidence in those you love.

Sessions are led by a qualified and experienced teacher.
Each half term session block explores a different theme and medium, gives opportunities for learning new skills and techniques and then applying them to create a final piece.
This block of sessions will focus on:

Observational drawing of figures

Exploring and developing skills and technique for working with wire, foam, wood and mod rock

Compostion skills - turning an emotion word into a sculpture

Studies of artists work and application into own artwork

We are really excited that we will be offereing the opportunity for young people to work with us towards an Arts Award. A fantastic opportunity for young people to develop as artists but also explore the professional world and experience leadership.
